Sean,

Why should you be unsure?  

And it does not take a lofty perch but nothing more than a cowardly spirit to 
start ---and academic tenure ---is required to become a willing and eager 
instrument of repression and to rewrite Wittgenstein's words....and indeed all 
of our words, every day in every way.  

Clearly just political correctness run amuck...and what better place for it to 
run amuck than the academic sanctum where cowardice of spirit is 
institutionalized to the highest degree. ...and indeed where the folks are 
"queerer" than most.
