My name is Ernie Graham and I am an on again, off again birder. Right now I am
on as I am retired and have the time. Today on Bartel St. (E. off of Winnequah)
where it crosses over a channel than runs behind the apartments on Pirate
Island I watched a swan which I believe to be an immature tundra swan. All
white and the bill was a worn yellowish orange with a couple of black streaks
and a black tip. Has anybody else seen this bird? Can anybody tell me what kind
of swan this is? In the last month I have seen up to three swans, but today
only one. This is the first time I got a close look. Thanks, Ernie, Madison
