Today's highlights:
Actually saw three Blue-winged Teal on Teal Pond - that only happens once a
year for me

Two male Wild Turkeys attacked and chased off another two males - it was a
cooperative effort

Saw a pair (male and female) of Wood Ducks at Teal Pond and another pair at
Big Spring

The Sandhill Cranes are still sitting on eggs on the marsh at Icke Boardwalk

Had Ruby-crowned Kinglets at Teal Pond and Icke Boardwalk

A pair of Hairy Woodpeckers were noisily chasing each other in Gallistel
Woods

The male Pileated Woodpecker was pecking a hole high in a tree is Gallistel
Woods - will check over the week to see if it becomes a nesting site

Off topic - Lilacs and Crabapples in bloom; Violets, Trillium, Virginia
Bluebells and Marsh Marigolds in bloom; Tiger Swallowtail in Wingra Woods;
Green Darners flying around Wingra Springs parking lot

My eBird report is appended below

Good birding to all,
