I tried replying to your second message, but my Windows Live Mail said that
there was a problem opening the email.
I wonder if you inadvertently installed some toolbar(s)
that may be interfering with your navigation in Chrome, in [particular? I'm
not the most familiar with Google Chrome, but I do use it at times. I don't
think you need to have its toolbar, which you may have been offered during
the Google Chrome install (or some other programme install). Remove any
toolbars unknown to you via Add/Remove in Control Panel.
