The best way to download Chrome, imho, is to visit:
https://ninite.com
Go down through the headings until you reach Web Browsers. Tick the
checkbox for Chrome. Press B to jump to the Get Your Ninite button
and press Enter. The download will begin.
Run the installer program and Chrome will be installed for you. No
adware, no spyware, no viruses, no hassle. Keep the installer and run
it again every few months and it will update Chrome for you.
