Actually Diane, Bristol is slowly losing her vision. She was pretty blind between March 2006 and August of that same year. We have gotten the majority of her sight back and are now fighting the cataracts. I wondered how much her vision loss played a part in the slowness of her picking up the clicker. Maya Angelou said "I did then what I knew then, and when I knew better, I did better." That is the way I feel about Bristol. She didn't ever get too many leash corrections because she never dared do anything undesirable, but I regret the few I have given her over the years and am working hard to try and at least get her to lighten up a bit. Slow is fast, and all that. Thanks for your understanding. I love my old dog!
