I have never been able to have my vu as a storage drive. I would have liked it;
I do fine using the stick.

I have tried with another cable: still can't be detected as portable device.
Well, I am sure I could copy the file onto a USB-drive, but the point is,
something has gone wrong because I should not have to do that all the time. If
I have a suitable USB cable around, then, I should be able to transfer the file
from PC to VU without an extra step.
Please advise.
