I visited Monticello around 2 on Saturday and didn't see much until around
3. Then, about mid-way up the stream, a number of warblers suddenly came
down, bathing and feeding, for about 15 minutes and just as suddenly moved
on. I saw:
Magnolia (3-4)
Blackpoll
Chestnut-sided
Black and White (2-3)
Black-throated Green
Redstart ("Yellowstart")
Nashville
Parula
There was also an Acadian Flycatcher on the ridge trail at the downstream
end.
