Fellow birders,
At 7-9 this morning Monticello Park in Alexandria, VA
contained several easily-seen and heard Blue-headed Vireos, at least 6
Yellow-rumped Warblers, a Palm Warbler, a Pine Warbler, 10 or so
Ruby-crowned Kinglets, 6 or more Hermit Thrushes, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers,
Eastern Towhees, a Chipping Sparrow, at least one Winter Wren in a pile of
logs just across the bridge to the left, Dark-eyed Juncos, singing
White-throated Sparrows and a Red-shouldered Hawk.
