Please do.
The 20050607 build work fine.
That's interesting. It may be the new bsdsocket emulation that causes the
problem. The stack magic stuff may well be problematic on a G5. I'm guessing
the G5 must use a 64-bit stack frame even when running 32-bit applications.
Can you set 'bsdsocket_emu=false' in your config file and see if that makes a
difference?
Cheers, Rich
By the way, this newbsdsocket don't seem to be very stable on the G4 and on the G5, It hang often on the Amiga side with Ibrowse, voyager
just begin to load a page and hang, Aweb SE seem to be working well, i have not the time to test that this evening, tomorrow, i try with the
newsreaders & ftp.
I join the crash log & the configfile for the G5. <G5_10_3_9_e-uae-osx_sdl-20050614.crash.log> <default.uaerc>
I have tested the newbsdsocket_emu with Thor (the newsreader).
But, I have failed to reproduce the problem with the G4 (Tiger). Thor seem to be working fine with the newbsdsocket.
Hope to make sens with my poor english. sorry for that.
