It needs some work before it's suitable for using with a GUI.
A major problem is that it currently requires the use of graphics
platform-specific key codes. It's difficult for a GUI (especially a
stand-alone GUI such as Hi-Toro - although in the case of OS X it's
reasonable to assume that raw Quartz key-codes will be used) to predict what
these will be.
