"not supported" and if you do some research will also see not recommended.... as is MS saying registry messing in xp "is not needed".... and.. best look again at the xp 2000.. where did you find it to say will "run"? yes run.. but!!!!! effectivie? there was a totally new and different regclean for 2000 loads of diffs if you do a break down of its internals... and... it hurts xp..... belive me... i tried it and dumped it for xp... but does work on 95,98,98se,me and 2000 now dont take me wrong...... I do use a couple of registry tools..... but regclean from ms has gone by the way side.... since it was written for the older versions and for me and the programs I run it hurt me bit too much... not saying for everyone will be the same...... but... have to consider.... the older versions are loads different than xp....and if one were to still insit upon using the old programs... well.... to each their own.... if you care to gamble.... up to you.... I do too much playing with all sorts of programs... and regclean isnt written to support xp nor has ever been upgraded for it.... 2000 yes... but again 2000 and xp... sounds like 2 different systems..... and it can hurt.....now.. all 6 of my boxes are with xp... so all the other stuff has gone... EXCPT one 2 gig hard drive on the shelf with dos 6.2 that is my trouble fixed toy.... lol.... never give that one up.... well... now.... looking and playing with longhorn...... gulp!!!!!......... time will tell....... chuck in ok
