I've heard the C64 Mini requires a powered USB hub, but I haven't tested this
for myself. Has anyone on the list tried one of those cheap unpowered hubs?
I apologize for being non-specific. The Anker hub I am using does not draw
external power and It works just fine. I believe the reason the documentation
mentions powered hubs is because different USB devices draw differing amounts
of power and the manufacturer wanted to cover their bases.
I have the included joystick and a generic USB mouse plugged into the hub which
is plugged into the C64 Mini. The USB flash drive is also plugged (directly)
into the C64 Mini. No problems.
