Or perhaps a trade of Two DTV Version 1 boards cleaned, tested and prepped for
hacking?
Or One cleaned and prepped plus one still in original joystick?

I guess in other words, if someone has a DTV V2 or Hummer sitting around
For a while, or not being used, I would really like to buy or trade something
for it.

:)

I still have that Stand up arcade racing game I won at the vintage video game
show
A few weeks back... I also have lots of PIC micro controllers, and a bunch of
Apple computer stuff...

I have a project in mind for the DTV, and I really need the User Port...
I'm building a stand alone Gameshow console for my wife who is a teacher...

I want to use the dtv hooked up to an lcd video projector in front of the
class, have it load questions from
A SD ram, and have 4 graphic players representing 4 actual players, keep score,
and sense 4 buttons
To see who pushed first, and playing a sound when they do...

I was thinking of using an actual C64, but I thought it would be cute if it was
made as small as possible...
With a cable that joins all 4 player buzzers. In any case I was thinking a
hummer or DTV V2 would be
Good becaue it can be flashed, and it has the user port....

I'm pretty sure I can do it with a standard DTV V1 using the joystick ports
buttons ( does not matter that Up on Joy1 is missing, as
I would be using the inputs as buttons, not direction... and a simple first
button pressed
Circuit that senses the first button pushed, then locks the others out... but
I think I may need some outputs,
And the joystick as far as I know is all input... :) I would need to be able
to reset the lock out,
Ideally via the game software, vs a button I press?

:) in any case I would love a Hummer or a DTV V2... :)
