Frank,

OpenCBM is miles less complicated than VICE. I'm confident we can get a
build that will work on your Mac.

Buying zoomfloopy was my last option to buy one today. So I just might do
that.

Ian. Remember, I am using the latest (beta) version of OS X Yosemite.
Like you did for me with vice. They didn't work.

Recent builds of OpenCBM should come with the imgcopy utility. With a
ZoomFloppy connected to your 1581 you should be able to read/write d81
files from your Mac with imgcopy. If I remember, I'll bring my ZoomFloppy
with me to the next meeting and build you a recent OpenCBM set for your
Mac.
