Phipp's Bend, Hawkins County
Was out for a few hours around the big ponds at Phipp's Bend in Hawkins
County this afternoon. Dragonfly activity was on the increase with a couple
of new FOS (first of season) species. Here is a list:
Spot-winged Glider (2)
Blue Dasher (4) FOS
Blue Corporal (12)
Eastern Pondhawk (40+) FOS
Common Whitetail (2) FOS
Common Green Darner (6)
