Sunny, very hot conditions prevailed for the 10th Putnam Count East NABA 
butterfly count.  Results below for this fairly good count.

1. Putnam Co. East, TN. Yr. 10, 36.1336°, -85.3136°, center at jct. of Rt. 70N 
and Pinhook [also called Pen Hook] Rd., 2.5 mi W of Monterey. See 2002 report 
for habitats. Habitat changes since last year: Loss of clover in several fields 
where this plant was previously common. 26 July 2011; 0730-1730 hrs; sun AM 
76-100%, PM 76-100%; 77-92°F; wind 0-0 mi/hr. 4 observers in 2 parties. Total
