Here are the results for today's Meeman-Shelby Forest count.  We had a great 
day with LOTS of Swallowtails.  The Phaon Crescents made an appearance, the 
first in 3 years for the count.  Still not a lot of diversity, but the species 
present made a good showing with 1250 individuals, a high number for this

87-97°F; wind 0-3 mi/hr. 4 observers  in 2 parties. Total party-hours 13; total

species, 1250 individuals.  Field Notes: Severe flooding in early May, but many 
of those areas seem to be recovering nicely.  Many species that inhabit lowland 
areas were greatly reduced or absent.1High number.  One intermediate form
