Hello Everyone,
Here are the results from this past Saturday's count at Clifton Bend. We had a
beautiful, sunny day, although a bit breezy. Numbers were near average for
both species count and total number of individuals. Of note, we saw 2 White-M
Hairstreaks, a first for the spring count and 108 identified Juvenal's
Duskywings (there were 55 other duskywings seen that were not positively ID'd)
and just one Horace's Duskywing. It was nice to see 36 Falcate Orangetips as
their numbers have been down the past few years. Notably absent were Sleepy
Duskywings.
