I'm not done troubleshooting it but I removed each processor and the error remained. I removed my extra RAM, leaving the server to boot up on 128 MB stick that came with the server and no more BSOD. I'm going to put in the RAM again to see if the BSOD comes back. _____ Brian Claus, A+, Network+, MCP Network Administrator WESCO Distribution, Inc. 225 West Station Square Drive, Suite 700 Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1122 Phone: 412-454-2412 Fax: 412-454-2540 bclaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:bclaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> _____ -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jonathan Carr Sent: Thursday, January 22, 2004 10:48 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Server Crashes ** Before acting on this email, or any attachments, you are advised to read Alsters Kelley's disclaimer at the end of this email ** I'm running an NT Terminal Server w/ MF 1.8 FR3 On average, about 2 or 3 times a month I have a server crash and everyone is thrown out of Citrix. All the event viewer reports is a 6008 (Unexpected Shutdown) and there is a Save Dump that contains the following: "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows NT [v15.1381]. A full dump was not saved." Apart from that there is nothing to suggest why this is happening. Although it's not a major worry, it's starting to annoy the users as they cannot trust the system! Which is obviously a major black mark on the IT dept!! I've searched hi and low for reasons why this keeps happening, but can't find anything remotely resembling a solution. Can anyone offer any advice or offer any resources that might help.
