Forgive me for interrupting with something I should already know the answer to, but ... We have a Windows ME client connecting via AOL to a Windows 2000 SP3 Terminal Server in application mode, and their local machine LPT and COM ports are not mapping. On Win2K machines we have not had this issue - the ports automatically appear and we assign the printers to them, it's a quick and painless affair. I am aware that there are mapping issues with WTS (i.e. not Citrix) and Win 9X and ME machines - mostly drive mapping issues, but I did not recall this being the case with printer ports. Can anyone confirm or deny that this is a known issue, and if it's not then how would you suggest I fix it? Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.
