[THIN] DESPARATE FOR HELP Pauses ever since w2k SP3

We have a small farm of 6 W2K TS/Citrix metaframe xp. We were doing fine
until we had to install w2k SP3.
Now we have complete pauses 3-10 times a day for 5-30 seconds.
We have installed Q324446.
two things we could not do are:
the dskcache setting/tool we have a compaq computer with raid controller
and this tool does not work with this.
the other thing we could not do is:
If you use a file server to share data, use roaming profiles, or redirect
home folders for Terminal Services users. Configure the following registry
subkeys on all file servers:
* In the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\Parameters
subkey, configure the following entries:
* Name: MaxWorkItems
......
we have clients from all over the place and they have their own servers
where they get data from.
So we are stuck. We can't get rid of these pauses and they seem to be
because of sp3.
clients are starting to get pissed.
Has anyone come across this and if so what did you do to fix it.
