[TechAssist] Re: Sanyo TV - DS27510 - Won't turn OFF - Followup

Bob,

I popped the relay out and now I'm really confused. The HV and picture
still comes up when the TV is plugged in and when the ON button is
pressed the audio comes on, when the ON button is pressed again, the
audio goes off and the picture remains. Someone mentioned that this
relay is for the degaussing circuit. I need a schematic here please; if
anyone has one they can send me I would greatly appreciate this.

Thank-you,

David Lessard.

Dave,
       I would try removing the relay...Then your 100% sure its not
that...
I did the same thing with the Panasonic, testing relay transistor, pulse
from micro...then I removed/replaced the relay and that took care of the
problem...Panasonic was doing EXACT same thing as your Sanyo...{I
thought it
can't be relay as it clicks on/off}
