Simple really, something either is loading down output from 5 volt regulator Q3600 to 3 volts intermintley. (possibilities many) or their are many surface mount transistors which are either in reset or turn on, and one of them is leaky. Can't really tell with out scamatic. Mr. R. L. I worked on a CTC170 a while back . It was shutting down. I changed the caps in the regulator like the CTC169 and it fixed it. Don't know what your problem is. This was a 36" set not a PTK. al marquardt ampm@xxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mitchs Electronics" <Mitchstv@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, May 16, 2003 2:14 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Rca PTK171ACB CTC-170AC Int wont turn on. > No print this girl, not HV splitter. Any one have any info on test points for standby voltages or main power supply voltages? Even the idiot sheet on back is gone. TIA > Mr. R. L.
