Hi Terry, Bob, Leon and Al. I just fixed the V12 chassis (VS4517R), changed a few more caps in the signal (side) board, vertical IC (LA7838) and R534 (1.2ohm 1/w) from the flyback to the 27v rectifier. That restored vert deflection and video. I am finding quite a few bad caps on the V11 chassis (VS5007R) ESPECIALLY AROUND PIP neighbourhood (no schematics, I just found the blue trimpots labeled "pip sumthing") Also checking the PS and signal board. Hope it is going to fix it ( the truth will show up at the customer's family room). FROM NOW ON, I AM GOING TO BE MORE CAREFUL checking for bad caps in these Mitsubishi chassis. And I'll estimate higher!! :o)) Thanks everybody Jorge At 08:33 a.m. 18/08/03 -0400, you wrote: >Had the same problem. It turned out to be the PIP circuit. Caps in the PIP >circuit were bad.
