First of all, thanks for this info. Yes the HOT is an original D1556 but
right now while bringing up the screen voltage the resistor open again. Also
i did what you say in your post to remove the CRT board and monitor the heat
level but the HOT was still getting hot. So the CRT is not the issue here. I
might have a bad flyback. Now before the resistor open the voltages on the
HVOT was C=130V, B=7V and E=2V can someone confirm this voltage for me. I
don`t have the schematic and i`ll sure appreciate if anybody will e-mail the
horizontal section.
