I will make some standoff brackets for the rails, one for the 5/16” rail and a
couple for the 1/4” rails.

actually no after I read this twice a stand off meaning like an L bracket
that is Perpendicular to the rail so the bigger rockets can rest on them.

Jack if you are referring to a stand off as the piece of round bar bolted
onto the bottom of the rail, then yes the 10’ long rail with the 5/16” grooves,
the maxi rail, has a standoff on it.

Does that rail have a stand off James? Do you think I should bring my big
rail too the one with the nice stand off.

I'm filling out my L3 Cert package stability evaluation. Do you happen
to know the length of the maxi-rail?

      Thanks,

Excellent news. Is there a maxi-rail (5/16") available on
Friday for a research flight?

          Hey All

2 of the Quad Pods will be coming to October Skies to judge make
sure the new rails with the stand off are in the trailer and I will bring my
Quad pod so we will have 3 pads to replace on the middle row instead of the
wobblers. I will be going down Thursday and be there before dark say 5 or 6 is
the goal I do not have the field yet Steve is working on it so as soon as I get
it I will post. Porta potties will be delivered Friday morning. See you out
there.
