really no good reason except funds and old wiring. not to mention the fact
that with a stock carb i may have to buy a different stand for an internally
regulated altenator. i just want to keep it all stock really. that is the
main reason why, granted stock i think was a single port but still. i have
decided to keep it predominantly stock. besides, whats wrong with a
generator? i have h4 lights so even if they are a bit dim it will still be
the brightest thing out there. and if i do put a sound system in it i will
probalby run a one farad capaciter just so the motor won't bog as much in
powering the amp.

Why would you buy a generator? I would always replace a gen with an alternator. Is there a good reason why not to, aside from vintage enthusiasts?
