It can be done.

Dan didn't believe it, but it CAN be done.

Maybe not by you though. You're a member of the big-boys club. How big
around are your arms?

You have to get an arm in front of the shroud up to your elbow and be able
to work a wrench with a 30mm socket attached -- with a lot of force -- to
get the fan nuts off.

Then you need flexible, small fingers and a thin wrench to get the backing
plate screws that are behind the intake.

Make sure you note the position of the backing plate and put it back on
EXACTLY right. There's a cooling air scoop that needs to be in the right
place.

But it can be done.
