Ok, my opinion. Paul, why not have it during the show on Sunday
and the winner could be announced at the awards ceremony? That would give
everyone plenty of time to get everything done. Friday could be a
bring-yourself supper night, Saturday morning is breakfast tacos, lunch is the
cruise, Saturday night is the main cookout, Sunday breakfast bring-yourself(so
everyone can set up and look good for everyone else), Sunday lunch could be the
chili cookoff( for those who want to participate-entries and judging) and then
the winner be announced at the end of the awards. I don't think that judging
chili would take away from judging the other categories for anyone involved.
Again, this is only my opinion. I know that I am sooooo ready for a 3-day
weekend!!!!! (Didn't get one for Labor Day!)

Some people won't be able to get there Friday morn. How can we make it
fair?

In my opinion, I think the Chili cookoff should be Friday. Start
cooking in the morning and have the judging early afternoon after most everyone
arrives. I think we need to get a headcount to determine how much Chili (and
beans for those who want them ) needs to be prepared.

Just make sure the "oregano" you use is the legal kind.

Start in the morn and eat in the afternoon, but what day were we talking about?
Saturday? When are the cops cooking for us?

Everybody always says that stew and chili is even better the next
day, so we have to get the rules right. Or, at least one rule. When is the
judging? And can the chili come to the T@P already done?

We need a ruling from the Chili Queen. And I think that the
judge's table should be right out Rob's bus door.

This would be funny if, in 5 years, this becomes MORGAN'S POINT
MAYOR PAUL SMITH CHILI COOKOFF WORLD CHAMPEENSHIP OF THE WORLD , and that one
of the activities during the weeklong competition is a VW campout.

              I am planning PSYCOCHILI.
