Andy,
Phones are affected by damage, if you drop your phone regularly, or just
once on the wrong surface you can completely nacker it.

You might think it works just fine, but those internal aerials are very
specific, and easily damaged.

Very often I used to see this working for Nokia, a phone would come back to
us, and when we took it apart, the Arial would be damaged in some way, which
is why it thus doesn't work...

Hi Ibrahim -

It doesn't seem to me to be about this, as I've been near the window on most
trips, and everytime, many others seem to be able to use their phones, when
I have no signal, unless their all kidding, and trying to look busy <smile>
