Hi Philip,

This time you are correct. A bluetooth keyboard is a serial device as is a
GPS receiver.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the clarification, sorry if I mislead anyone.
For my information I assume you cannot have a Bluetooth keyboard and a ext.
GPS receiver live at the same time.

Regards
Philip

Hi,
As far as I am aware, you cannot connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at the
same. This may be a reason for using the internal GpS receiver.

Hi Jim

The N95, like some other phones now, have built-in GPS receivers. But the
external one referred to on this list already leaves the phone's own device
for dead. It takes some time to get a signal on the built-in receiver, and
it isn't as strong when out and about.

I haven't tried using a Bluetooth headset and the external GPS receiver,
also via Bluetooth, on a mobile at the same time. Perhaps someone who has
can advise you how well this works.

HI List,

I thought the N95 had its own built-in receiver. So why should one need an
external receiver to use wayfinder? Also can access-way finder be used with
the following: a blue toot headphone, a blue tooth receiver and the n95
running all together?

Jim.
