Ibrahim, please spare a thought for some who find it more difficult than you do to look things up and be sure of getting all the information etc. Some are much older than yourself, for example, and find constant work on the computer more of a chore than an enjoyment, especially when these looking-up things need to be done!
Also, although technical questions can't always be answered correctly, if they are answered incorrectly (whether it's a question of particular relevance to a visually impaired person or not) I feel the company concerned should take some responsibility. There's nothing wrong with their saying "I am not sure, I don't know" or even asking another colleague, after all.
Anyway, I don't want to get too bogged down in all this, nor do I want to be on my soap box, and I do appreciate your help in many matters; but just felt a word of caution to be in order ...

Hi. Yes, but also, it is up to the potential owner of a phone to do their own research, the internet provides bounty a plenty for the methodical researcher. Its no good blaming the networks for everything. Accessibility is a specialist subject yes, but personal taste and feature requirements are down to the owner to sort out. Don't ask me questions about this, but my understanding is that before the end of the year, talks may be in a position to support touch screens which means phones like the N97 become fully accessible, but I'm not taking questions as my knowledge is extremely limited upon this point and any questions will be ignored. Back to my earlier point though, I do wish people would stop going on about the problems they've had with particular networks and getting the wrong information. If you can't be bothered to look things up and spend the time checking out the competition both on your own and other networks, you're going to be limited in your scope when it comes to choice. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: "brian williams" <firstup@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 06, 2009 12:52 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Update on the N85Hi If you took a contract on the basis of the information given to you by vodafone, and that information was wrong, not uncommon with vodafone, then the contract is uninforcible. As we proved with our own experience. rian ----- Original Message ----- From: "Walter Ramage" <wpr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 06, 2009 11:31 AM Subject: [talks-uk] Update on the N85Hi folks. OK. Here we go. in view of what some were saying yesterday I went to the Voedafone store this morning. I asked about the N85 and if it had a touch screen element. The guy there said no it hasn't. When I got home I called Voedafone and told them what I was told yesterday by there colleague. The guy I spoke to on the phone this morning said it did have a touch screen but when I told him what I was told on this list last night and what the store assistant told me this morning he disappeared for a few minutes and came back and told me that it didn't have a touch screen element but on the reviews and on the screen image he had it looked as if it had. I'm not very pleased as I got a new contract based on what the guy told me yesterday. I would be happy to keep the 6210 but I have felt it in the store this morning and it felt really nice but has the Nokia headphone socket and not the standard one. If I can find an adaptor to convert the socket to a standard socket then I would keep it but if I can't then I'll send it back. I want the option to use high quality ear phones with my phone and not the bog standard type and if they got damaged I would be stuck and not be able to use the phone's player other than via the mono speaker. Does anyone know where I can get such an adaptor? and soon as I have only 7days from Wednesday to find one. Walter.
