The N85 is easy to use. The keyboard is flat yes, but there are two
distinctive bumps on the 5 key. And yes, I am total.

Hi Barbara. I called them back this morning and told them I had
been
mislead and I wasn't happy. Before I say much more I was in the Voedafone
store this morning and got a feel of the 6210 and it was very compact and
very small in comparison to the 95 which sometimes feels like a Fischer
price product. The keypad on the 6210 is very similar to the 6680 but
smaller but the keys are distinctive. The only thing that is off putting is
the lack of a dedicated 3.5 jack socket but I think I understand their
reasoning as the phone is so slimline a huge 3.5 jack socket would look a
bit strange. Nonetheless, if I can get an adaptor then I'll keep the phone.
The 85 according to the guy on the phone yesterday, the guy who gave me
wrong info said the 85's keypad is even more difficult to use than the 96 as
it is much more flush and there isn't a great deal to help orientate you on
the keypad. In the store I asked the guy there about the keypad and he
looked at the 96 and said the 85's keypad is much less distingtive and
little to indicate where the numbers are. If anyone on this list who is
total and has an 85 I would be happy to hear from you and get your opinion
as to the keypad. Now, It seems when you place an order for a phone or
establish a new contract, the operators only have 1 hour to cancel. If that
isn't done with in that time it is a lot simpler to get the phone and then
send it back which I will do if I can't get an adaptor. It isn't the first
time I've been given duff info from Voedafone. The store here has the 85 in
stock but not on display. I didn't really have a lot of time but I think if
I had asked for a look, they would have said no. They are not very helpful
at times. Walter.

Walter, this is just typical of my experience with Vodafone. Give you wrong
info and then you have to constantly ring back to have it confirmed or
rejected. I think on the basis of them giving you false information they
should change the deal for you to include the N85 rather than the 6210 if
this is the phone you prefered.
