Yes, I am as secure as I know how to be but continue to be careful, so maybe I won't use WiFi in this way. Trouble is, I never got bluetooth set up properly on this desktop of mine and my laptop doesn't have a card since, somehow, I didn't seem to purchase one with it (though I thought I probably had). I just don't want to keep plugging in cables but perhaps it's still the best way. -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ---- Original Message ---- From: Neil Barnfather To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, December 10, 2008 11:14 AM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Setting Up Wifi on my Mobile : Carol, : : Yes, to view your phone as if it were a computer on the network : you'll need software, be very careful doing this though, as you're : opening your handset to access, there are so many dangers with this : if you're not mindful of security. : : I don't do this I simply plug in my phone or use blue tooth, that way : I feel more secure. : : : : : From: talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx : [mailto:talks-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Carol Pearson : Sent: 09 December 2008 23:00 : To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx : Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Setting Up Wifi on my Mobile : : : Thanks so much.
