Yeah, think the N in N Series is for entertainment? Or maybe I'm way off themark. But I know the E Series is for the business end with none of that music/camera fancy bits getting in the way. I know they have cameras, but they are a phone first and not a music centre! What happened to good old fashioned phones for phoning on? E65 sounds nice though, maybe I'll consider it myself when upgrade time comes. Not longer than the N80/N95 opened I'd say, but noticeably slimmer, and it's shorter than the N73 when closed no doubt. If you're after a small, slim, neat looking phone, yet with an easy keypad to feel, the E65 should be, I think, one of the Nokia models to consider. That's the first thing I liked about it. If you're after a powerful camera or a fancy MP3 player, the N series phones should be the ones to look at. The N73 music edition for instance, comes with four speakers, and can play your ring tones in a circular or zigzagmotion! Cool, ha?! I'm no expert, but the way I understand it is that the E series phones target business customers and the N phones target the generaluser. I should get round to sorting the graphics and the speed dial thing sometime then. Though if I'm being honest, they don't bother me that much. What I'm looking forward for is using the net and reading Word documents on my phone. Thanks again, Amro ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 6:19 AM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Nokia E65Hi Amro, Yes, you can indeed label the graphics for the SMS and Email messages, this will be done I believe in the next release, but you can always do it yourself. Your speed dial problem, have you updated to the latest firmware on your E65, I believe it is fixed, but I am not sure. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. The voice is clear and Talksis responsive. On the negative side, I found couple of problems to be mentioned. I found that Talks doesn't read the graphical notification of a messed call or received message. However, you can obtain this info easily using Talks+long Soft Key 2 keystroke. As well, you might be able to label these two graphical simples using the Talks Graphics Labeller - check with Steve. I'm totally not sure whether this is a Talks problem or it's my phone that is faulty. if I use the speed dial by pressing and holding a number on the keypad the phone hangs and restart. However, if I press the speed dialcorresponding key, followed by the Call Key, the speed dial works with noproblems. So it's not a big deal. You need to keep in mind that Talks doesn't seem to work with the new Nokia browser that comes on some of the newer Nokia models and the E65 is unfortunately one of them. As well, Talks doesn't work with the basic QuickOffice that comes with the phone and it didn't do any better even after Ipurchased the advanced version of Quick Office. The Talks dealer should give you more up to date info about this and to when these issues are going to be addressed. Lastly, I should mention that the battery last me for about one & half days. So you'd be better off charging it every night if you're a heavy user. All in all, a nice small and a light weight phone, with a quite few shortkeys that makes accessing the phone's functions easy such as the Voice Recorder, a mute button and a programmable button and a few more. It has allthe connectivity methods built in as well. The phone has a 1.3 camera anda real player too, nothing fancy though like the Nokia N73. Hope that helps, Amro ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Wilson" <barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "talks-uk" <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, May 15, 2007 3:39 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Nokia E65Does anyone know if the new Nokia E65 works with TALKS?
