Barry, set to list view.

There's also another setting I didn't get right for a while which Jackie told me about and this really solved my problem. I was thinking how unstable and annoying it was when the phone kept changing the way it displayed the lists - sometimes up and down and at other times from side to side. The setting you want to change is hidden somewhere. Now, can I find it???

Found it. It's the Sensor setting and this should be set to "Off". I think the default is "On". You'll find this in Tools, Settings and General, Sensor Settings. I think that should work now for you! If you still have problems, come back and we can compare some settings! <Smiles>

It bugged me like mad till it was fixed, then it was a different phone! <Smiles>

Barry, you can't have both mate, it's either list, up and
down, or grid, up and down or side to side. You've gotta
take your pick.

Subject: [talks-uk] N86 view

Hi all

I have set my N86 to list view and, initially, it works
well with the up and

down cursor moving up and down a list. However, sometime
I need to go left and right to go through the list. Is
there any setting that I can change to

make this mobile stable?

Cheers

Barry
