Dear Lynn,We would, as well, and I understand about the closed nature of our list, but perhaps, among ourselves, since we are nonpartisan, I hope, on that score, we can come up with some ideas to help those who are trying to assist us to sell current employers and the City on ways of being more business-friendly.

If another utility comes in and generates electricity cheaper than the City can I would buy it from them. With such a closed list we have here I think we are preaching to the choir here on this employment issue.----- Original Message ----- From: "Darla J. We'd all like more jobs; however, I think you mentioned a really important point: government is a much better employer of the disabled (I believe), than private industry (that wasn't exactly your point I know, but it's a related point). If we all do things to bring in more jobs from private industry, I'm not so sure the disabled community would benefit. Of course,Tallahassee and surrounds would benefit, so that benefits us. Have tobe a little careful what we wish for however; don't want to end up down-wind from a Cole-fired power plant, or a wood-pulp mill.
