Yes, I don't think it is because they or we don't want to work! It is mostly
that there is not enough jobs out there and also the seeing world
recognizing that we can indeed work and be productive and in areas other
than food industry and such.

TYou're right, but even SSDI benefits don't pay enough to really live, and I
believe, given the right opportunities and training, many more blind people
would want to work and contribute to the economy and live better.
