I hear that it is often said that heroes die but once.
And cowards die a thousand deaths, their honor in the dumps.
Most cowardly of all it seems, are those who so glibly,
accuse their betters of their own shame anonymously.
Especially when it is done when heroes cannot hear.
Which is understandable when weighed on cowards' fear.
The motives of such baseborn are not worth the time to know.
They boil up from envy, fear and dwelling down below.
They haven't got the fortitude to face a true hero.
So they weave a sorry tale using cowardice they show,
while their shame and ever-present thoughts of villainy do grow,
waiting only righteous anger to deliver killing blow.
It's especially pathetic when the lot of them don't dare,
for against their target's record their own deeds cannot compare.
For the perfidious and lily-livered creatures in their lair,
do the lifeless masque of death as lies drive out all breathing air.
And the soulless, cretinous creatures wail and scream "that is not fair!,
as the devils that they dealt with come in time to fetch their fare.
And the irony that is not lost on any that can think
is despite the vile calumny of wretchedness and stink,
that the person so maligned is often cut from the great mold,
of the heroes and the legends who in tales vastly old,
would of their own safety and weal would scarcely deign to weigh,
as they wade into the fray to save the cowards of the day.
And in doing so afford the sad excuses for a soul,
the opportunity to lift above their sorry, rancid hole.
But the vast majority of those who to this level sink,
are incapable of remedying their foul unnatural kink.
Thus saving them is pointless, and a senseless waste of breath
For the only end they favor is the dreadful coward's death.
