I don't think his career is dead, but I see no way he coaches this year.

I'm not yet ready to declare this as career-ending for Flores. This isn't
stepping on a cultural landmine like the national anthem was. I wouldn't
completely rule out an NFL coaching gig, and I'm sure that many colleges would
welcome Flores.

I agree.
It's sad that standing up for yourself or others coming behind you can be
career ending.
I hope the media doesn't push the mic in front of other black coaches asking
them to weigh in.
The Steelers seem to do a better job than most when it comes to picking head
coaches. whatever their method is, it should be followed by more.

Flores interviewed with the Texans yesterday and napalms them for their
treatment of David Culley today. He knows his career might be over now, but
my goodness he says what needed to be said.
Steeler fans: be thankful that the last time the Steelers were in need of a
coach, they cast the net as far and wide as possible, were open minded and
curious and recognised that there was something special about the DC of the
Vikings with only one year of co-ordinate experience. They did it right and
hardly anyone has done it right since.
