Hi, Chi. You'd need to use the General MIDI 1 soundset notation if you wanted to write percussion parts e.g., C2 for kick drum, D2 for snare, C#2 for sidestick. I'm not sure what the notation looks like in print re the noteheads; I haven't tried printing a percussion part out yet. It probably wouldn't handle slash notation very well.
