To put things in perspective.
I design ASIC memory controllers, I also design memory buses on PCB.
If I ask my ASIC vendor to balance out the skew of the data nibble and =
strobes in a group to within 2ps, he will laugh at me and walk away. =
50-100ps will be something reasonable for DDR2/3 for ASIC vendors.
That is equivalent to match length to 500mils.
Your 5mil or 10mil or whatever mil matching on PCB will be noise =
compared to the silicon skew.

I'm sorry, but if you've done your timing/si budget on a high speed=20
mission critical bus, then you know exactly what delay matching=20
requirements are, and therefore how to constrain your net routing.  It=20
takes no time to write down a routing rule.  If you then still specify=20
some absurdly small number without thinking of the possible=20
implications, then you don't want to work for a boss like me.
If you haven't done your timing/si budget and specify absurdly small=20
delay matching requirements, then you are not doing engineering, no=20
matter what you call it, or how you justify it.   You're playing a game=20
of chance.
