Sally you are so correct, I remember the discussions and suggestions and 
Jamie drew up a great Code of Ethics and it all fell by the wayside.  But in 
the administrations defense, I think the Hunte thing and lawsuits 
took over and consumed the time and energy that would have been spend on club 
issues.  I certainly don't want to open up that can of worms again, I'm just 
mentioning this for possible re-discussion and re-submission now that valid 
points are being brought up regarding this.  Christine certainly made very 
good statements and by reading the subsequent posts, a re-evaluation certainly 
seems to be in order.

What bothers me  about this discussion is that we have been thru this
multiple times.  Jamie wanted to tighten up the loop wholes and put some
strength in it and at the time it kept getting rejected. As I remember Jamie
worked very hard on this for a long time and took a lot of suggestions from
the membership only to have it rejected by the board.

So unless the board is willing to back a change it is going no where
