Peggy your post reemphisizes the fact that theremn are good and poor specimens produced by the best sires...Years ago O had a dog who got,his ROM with 7 litters..He had sired 26 litters by the time he actually had the rom...but the progeny came from his first 7 litters...He was a very consistant producer of quality. I had no money, no handlers, no advertising...just good dogs...and they did ok.It would be interesting to see exactly how many champions certain famous stud dogs produced...I know of at least one dog who sied 1000 liters and others who sired several hundred litters...But, it seems to me the top producing dogs still have produced around 50 to 60 champions...Does anyone have any accurate statistics???I think the parent club could make a real contribution if they would accumulate these facts...
