I have a big black German Shepherd in my obedience class. When they got him he was the runt and hardly had any hair on him When I look at him now I am sure he must have had mange although the vets never mentioned that to them. he has the gray bit of missing hair around the eyes and spots on his body that show gray skin showing instead of hair. His coat has got better since I had them change his food but there is still the odd patch that has the thin spots showing. He is very healthy otherwise now although he was a skinny unhealthy looking puppy I understand.. My question is...... what would you suggest to try putting on these spots to see if the hair grows in and do you think it was mange as I do? I also thought maybe thyroid. I told them I would see what my gurus thought Holly Woods Marrand Shepherds Williams Lake, B.C. -- Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
