I used to go dog parks when I just had Cy and Bailey and didn't have puppies on
the ground. Bailey is a rescue with a badly maimed front leg. After the same
boxer attacked her for the second time and Cy ran over to protect her and the
boxer owner found the situation hilarious and would not correct her dog (and a
colleague had to intervene before the boxer owner and I came to blows). I
pretty much wrote it off. I stopped by a few months later at an off time but
the area was so full of poop I wouldn't let my dogs go in there.
I will not risk their health and most people can't recall or down their dogs
across the dog park and obviously I take great offense to my dog being a chew
toy.

Subject: Re: What are your comments on this?
When I was herding a lot, we used to tie several herding breeds out along
a long shady shelter. They could easily get into each others space but
they did not, it was respect. To a dog, when a Bouv or overly friendly
breed
approached they universally hated them and gave them strong warning. I
understand this as I like my space as well. I found some breeds or
individuals in that breed does not know how to approach the pack, but I find
the same
thing in people. Its an interesting study in people as well as we are
more like the dogs in these rules than we care to admit.
I would never take my dogs to a dog park for several reasons.
