I don't know what most of you think about vaccines. However, the vaccine
protocol has been given lots of scrutiny by the Vet Schools in the last
several years. Giving 5 or 7 vaccines at once can challenge the immune
system and some individual dogs are unable to incorporate that many vaccines
at one time. This is why some puppies have been known to come down with
Parvo even if they have been vaccinated. I never give 5 in one or 7 in one
to puppies especially. Dogs have also been known to carry a very high
titer for Rabies even after 5 years. There is a movement to convince the
"lawmakers" that annual Rabies inoculations after a certain age are not only
unnecessary but could be detrimental. The manufacturers and some vets
will be hard put to accept this as it means a loss of the almighty $

I have a question about giving vaccines. Do a

of you still give the DHLP/seven way shot with Lepto every year. Would you
give it to a ten year old dog who has had his shots every year. I have two
ten year old dogs, they are very healthy. I was just wondering what a lot
of
you do about giving shots and do you still give Corona? Any input would be
greatly appreciated so that I can decide what to do because the dogs are
all due
for their shots. They do get a rabies shot every three years. TIA.
