I could do a better job than half of them, and perhaps not as good as the
other half. About the same as every entry today.
If asked to be a temperament evaluator I would be pleased to do so for the
good of the breed. If asked to spend months or even weeks in training, I would
be pleased to turn it down.
We can kill a program by thinking too much about what it takes. I remember
the training given to the early evaluators. We should do no more and expect
no less.
