I would say YES. I was always under the understanding that they should not
be within 6 weeks either side of a season. Belief being that hormones
causes sublixation in the joints.
I would say if the bitch is worth it redo and resubmit. I did have to do
one that was in heat and she got a fair. Would she have gotten a Good if not
in heat? Probably. But at that point it was a number . Everyone else
(siblings, parents and grandparents where all 'Good's

Hello Everyone.
I know of a 2 yr old GSD bitch (not one of mine) who was in season when
her owner took her in for OFA xrays. The bitch ended up with an OFA hip
grade
of Mild. Is there any hope of this girl getting a Fair if resubmitted when
she's out of season? Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
